Hemorrhoid Herbs
Witch hazel, butcher’s broom and barberry are some of the well-known herbs used to help with hemorrhoids. To encourage blood flow and healthy veins, use butcher’s broom. Everyday one to three 100-milligram pills will prove helpful.
It is recommended that your medical doctor is consulted before beginning herbal or any form of hemorrhoid treatment, specially if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, having other health challenges or are on medications. Endeavor to always follow the label on the product. It is not advised that butcher’s broom be used if you are pregnant, nursing, on alpha blockers or MAO inhibitors. With the use of a cotton swab, you can apply witch hazel exactly on the hemorrhoids. Since this is a natural astringent, it will help lessen irritation and restore comfort. Add liquid barberry root to water, it shores up the gallbladder and liver, as well as thwarts constipation. Blend two milliliters with a little bit of water three times daily. Nursing mothers or pregnant women should not use this treatment.
